Port of Montreal actively present in business, tourism and environmental circles

Tony Boemi, Vice-President, Growth and Development at the MPA, was re-elected President of the Board of Directors of Cruise the Saint Lawrence, an association comprised of nine ports of call on the river. Its mission is to help develop Quebec’s cruise market and promote the Canada New England destination by offering its members marketing and development services.

 

Claude Deschambault, Director, Environment at the MPA was elected to the Board of Directors of the St. Lawrence Action Fund (SLAF). The SLAF is a charitable organization dedicated to providing financial support for projects that foster the conservation of the ecosystems and biodiversity of the St. Lawrence River and its Gulf while maintaining and enhancing its uses.

 

Sophie Roux, Vice-President, Public Affairs at the MPA was elected to the Board of Directors of the Chambre de commerce de l’Est de Montréal (CCEM). The CCEM’s mission is to defend and promote the socioeconomic interests of its 1,200 members and 32,000 businesses located east of St. Lawrence Blvd. The MPA is a major partner of the CCEM.
