Initiated in 2016, the Smart Port Challenge is organized annually by the Port of Montreal in partnership with ÉTS and the engineering firm Hatch. With the objective of supporting the development of young innovative talent and promoting local know-how, this challenge offers students in the Operations and Logistics Engineering program at ÉTS a valuable opportunity to work on an actual project related to their field of study.

Last fall, the challenge was to design a truck entry complex for the Port of Montreal's Contrecœur expansion project that included engineering, simulations, innovation and environmental measures, with the objective of optimizing the flow of heavy vehicles.

Congratulations to the winners!
