CargO2ai wins a Quebec Excellence in AI Award
Designed in the spring of 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the CargO2ai logistics tool was recognized with Quebec Excellence in AI Award during the second edition of the AI Meetings co-developed by the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal, Scale AI and Forum IA Québec, in the Best Integration of AI into a Product/Service or Business Process category.
Developed through a partnership between the Port, CargoM, Termont, MGTP, Scale AI and Ivado Labs, CargO2ai uses artificial intelligence to deliver medications, medical equipment and pharmaceutical products as quickly as possible, notably to avoid supply delays and stock shortages during precarious economic and public health situations.
Thanks to this tool, the wait time for critical containers can be shortened by up to 50% between unloading and departure from the terminal compared to the average wait time for all containers. To date, more than 14,500 TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units) have been identified and prioritized.
