A guided bus tour of port facilities
Fancy a trip to the hub of port activities? The Port of Montreal is pleased to offer citizens a guided bus tour of one of its container terminals.
This is a rare opportunity to visit port facilities that are usually closed to the public and to learn more about freight transport, which plays such an important role in our daily lives.
And it's free!
Meet us on Friday, September 2 at the corner of Aylwin and Ontario East during the back-to-school sidewalk sale organized by SDC Hochelaga.
No reservation is required: just hop on one of our shuttles. There are three departures for this event:
- 5 p.m.
- 6:15 p.m.
- 7:30 p.m.
The tour lasts about an hour. Please note that seating is limited.
The public is also invited to visit our travelling Port in the City container during the Hochelaga back-to-school sidewalk sale. The container features a wealth of information on port activities and their impacts, as well as a colourful logistics-themed game, free snacks and a contest to win a cruise. So far this summer, no fewer than 4,000 people have already tried their luck!
