The Port of Montreal played a key role in organizing the cleanup of the Contrecœur waterfront on September 14, the day of this year’s Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup.

About a hundred volunteers mobilized to help us, including employees of Logistec, Termont, Yara, Fednav, Sanexen and Urgence Marine.

Altogether 278 kilograms of waste, including 360 litres of recycling, were recovered. It was a great collective action to protect the river and its shores, for the benefit of the environment and local residents.
