Seafarers on a ship

Mariners’ House of Montreal

Located on the Port of Montreal's Grand Quay, Mariners’ House of Montreal meets the needs of thousands of seafarers who visit the Port of Montreal each year. It cares for the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of seafarers, and gives them a home away from home where they feel welcome. Seafarers find a friendly and welcoming space, warm clothing, transportation to terminals, Internet access, recreational activities, and more.

Jeunes musiciens du monde

The Jeunes musiciens du monde youth orchestra gives free music lessons to young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. Through music education, these youth develop confidence, motivation and their ability to imagine a positive future.

Every year since 2016, the Port of Montreal team has tackled the Desgagnés Kayak Challenge, a 250 km course between Montreal and Quebec City to benefit Jeunes musiciens du monde. It's a sporting challenge that unifies solidarity, achievement, and community support!

MS Canada

Did you know that Canada has one of the highest rates of multiple sclerosis (MS) in the world? MS Canada supports people affected by the disease, funds research to find a cure, and advocates to improve their quality of life.

For more than 20 years, the Port team has participated in MS Bike Tour, a cycling event that brings people together to raise funds for MS Canada. So far, our valiant cyclists have raised over $284,000!
