Thank You to the Mariners’ House of Montreal and Our Volunteers
The sugar shack event held on Tuesday, March 24 at the Grand Quay, in support of the Mariners’ House of Montreal, was a great success! The event brought together no fewer than 180 participants and raised $35,000 to support the Mariners' House's mission to help seafarers calling at the Port of Montreal.
A total of 34 volunteers stepped up to ensure the event ran smoothly, from setup to meal service. Their dedication and generosity played a key role in making the day a success.
In a spirit of solidarity, all leftover food was donated to St. Michael’s Mission, an organization that supports some of the most vulnerable members of Montreal’s community.
A big congratulations to all our volunteers for their valuable contribution, and thank you to the Mariners’ House for its essential mission! 👏
