Spotlight on the new cruise season lineup
The new cruise season is now online! Here’s a taste of what’s in store for the Port of Montreal cruise terminals in 2025:
With 41 operations in all, 20 different cruise ships and about 58,000 passengers and crew members expected, Montreal continues to be well positioned in the top cruise destinations in North America.
From Montreal, the ships will set sail for several destinations in North America and Europe, featuring:
- U.S. East Coast: Boston, New York, Portland, Fort Lauderdale and Miami
- Great Lakes: Toronto and Chicago
- Transatlantic crossings: Hambourg, Reykjavik and Bremen
The Port of Montreal will welcome an array of cruise ships, from the Volendam, the largest with its 1,440 passengers, to the smallest, Ponant’s Champlain, which can accommodate 184 passengers.
Again, just like every year, we are pleased to announce the arrival of new ships calling at Montreal for the first time:
- Seven Seas Splendor (Regent Seven Seas Cruises)—750 passengers
- Silver Shadow (Silversea Cruises)—400 passengers
- Allura (Oceania Cruises)—1,200 passengers, the newest in the Oceania fleet
We are also hailing the return of Silversea Cruises to Montreal after a five-year absence.
Also, Montreal is proving its appeal in the luxury cruise market with companies such as Ponant, Viking Cruises, Oceania Cruises, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, WindStar Cruises, Azamara Cruises, Seabourn Cruises and Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, each of which helps travellers achieve a special, upscale experience.
