Important Safety Notice for All Vessel Crews
The Port of Montreal, including the Port Road, is an industrial area where hazards are present and real. All vessel crew members must comply with the occupational health and safety requirements in effect at the Port of Montreal.
Walking or cycling on the Port Road or within terminal facilities is prohibited, except in designated pedestrian areas. Within terminal facilities, vessel crew members must use the shuttle services provided between the berth and the terminal entrance gate.
Please note that a $125 violation ticket, plus applicable fees, may be issued under the Contraventions Regulations to a crew member (individual); in addition, a $500 violation ticket, plus applicable fees, may also be issued under the same regulations to the Master or the person in charge of the vessel.

These signs will soon be standardized and installed at all entrances to the port.
