Ronald Haddad
Vice President of the Expansion Project

Ronald Haddad, Eng., PMP, has been Vice President of the Expansion Project at the Montreal Port Authority since April 2026. He is responsible for the planning and execution of the Port of Montreal’s expansion project in Contrecœur.
With nearly twenty years of experience in managing major infrastructure projects, he joined the MPA in August 2025 as Senior Director of the Contrecœur Expansion Project, before being appointed to his current role. He now leverages his extensive expertise in leading and delivering complex construction and infrastructure projects across Quebec and Canada.
Before joining the Port of Montreal, Ronald held several leadership positions at Énergir, where he was responsible for delivering major energy infrastructure projects. His scope included transmission and distribution networks, compression stations, and renewable energy projects, actively contributing to Quebec’s energy transition efforts.
Recognized for his collaborative leadership, strong understanding of regulatory issues, and ability to structure, negotiate, and secure contractual agreements with public and private partners, Ronald excels at engaging a wide range of stakeholders. His approach fosters effective collaboration among multidisciplinary teams, local communities, public authorities, and Indigenous partners. He has a strong interest in project governance, risk management, social acceptability, and performance in the delivery of major infrastructure projects.
