Marine-Rail Interchange

The Port of Montreal operates its own network of railways and locomotives, providing direct access to the wharves. The rail convoys are assembled near the ships and then sent to the interchange zone and hitched to locomotives of the Canadian National (CN) and Canadian Pacific (CP) networks.
