Any other type of material not listed below shall be disposed of off-site in compliance with the regulations in force. If the Lessee does not dispose of the materials not covered by the Montreal Port Authority, a fee of $500 per shipment shall be charged to the Lessee.

Public Wi-Fi
TELUS Wi-Fi is a service provided free of charge on the Grand Quay site.
The network can accommodate 800 simultaneous users (10 Mb/shared). Note: Connection speed to the TELUS Wi-Fi network may vary depending on the number of users connected to the TELUS Wi-Fi access point.
TELUS Wi-Fi lets you stay connected on your smartphone, tablet or laptop.
No software or passwords are required. All you need is a Wi-Fi enabled device. Simply follow these steps:
- Select the #TELUS network in your device’s Wi-Fi settings.
- Open a new tab in your browser. You will automatically be taken to the TELUS Wi-Fi registration page.
- Note: If your browser is already open, you will need to open a new tab.
- Enter your name and email address and agree to the TELUS Wi-Fi terms and conditions.
- TELUS will send a confirmation email to the address provided. You will have 10 minutes of Internet access. Open the email on the same device and confirm your address by clicking on the link in the message.

Wireline ($)
The Grand Quay is equipped with high-speed bandwidth up to 1 Gb/s. An Internet network is needed for online ticketing, online payment services (e.g. a bar or auction) or streaming a live event, etc.
Several network outlets are available in each room to make it easier to connect as needed. The Lessee may connect to its choice of outlet(s) and the bandwidth will be distributed to the various outlets used.
The Lessee can use the bandwidth with a wired link (cable) or via a private wireless network. In all cases, the Lessee is responsible for bringing its own cables and/or wireless hub to transmit the signal (routing) and configure it as required.
#TELUS Public Wi-Fi Exclusivity: If the Lessee wants to use the high speed bandwidth to provide additional Wi-Fi service to its guests, a password will be required to connect by means of a service set identifier (SSID). No public Wi-Fi may be deployed in any area where TELUS Wi-Fi is present.
The Grand Quay does not provide any signal redistribution services (Wi-Fi or wired). The Lessee must hire an external supplier as needed for this specific function.
Please note that the communication ports of the internet link are open; the firewall between the distribution source and the network only controls brute force attacks. Consequently, the Lessee must make adequate security arrangements to ensure the level of security needed for the nature of the service.
If the Lessee wants to conduct pre-event functionality testing with our IT technician, it must be done during business hours (Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.). The cost is $75/hour (minimum 4 hours).
The request for service must be confirmed to the coordinator no later than 10 business days prior to the event date.
Daily rate: $500

Event housekeeping
The Grand Quay will provide, at the Lessee's expense, a crew of attendants to clean the rented premises before, during and after the event.
The Lessee is responsible for cleaning all its equipment, including trade show carpeting, stages, booths and tables.
Cleaning equipment (mop, bucket, broom and dustpan) may be made available to the Lessee as needed.
If the Leased Premises or equipment exceed the usual cleaning requirements after dismantling has ended, a fee of $48/hour, minimum 4 hours per cleaning attendant, will be charged after the event.

A logistics agent will be assigned to your event and will be on site during the entire rental period, from the start of set-up to the end of dismantling.

Logistics agents can be reached at any time by cell phone. Their cell phone number will be given to you on the day of your event.
At the beginning of set-up and after dismantling ends, an inspection of the Leased Premises shall be carried out to check the condition of the room or hall. The inspection sheet must be signed and approved by the Lessee or its representative.

Other services
Room temperature
The temperature of the halls is maintained at 21.5°C at all times.
To maintain a uniform temperature in the rooms, ensure that doors are properly closed when not in use. Additionally, avoid placing curtains in front of the ventilation ducts.
If you need further assistance, please contact the on-site logistics agent.
Lighting
All rooms are lit with a system of white LED lights only, which can be controlled with a dimmer to change intensity. It is possible to control neon intensity per section with assistance from the on-site logistics agent. No touching or handling of any device is allowed (e.g. attaching or tilting neon lights).
Water supply
Indoor
If the Lessee wants to install a water fountain station, a connection can be made from a kitchen sink. The Lessee must provide a hose connection of sufficient length from the sink to the service point. The hose must run along the floor to the designated location. The client must install a grommet to secure the passageway. Please note that there is no drain for the wastewater return (no sink installation possible).
Outdoor
Valves to connect a hose are available near doors 1-9-17 and near the bathrooms in the parking lot on Level 1. Clients are responsible for providing their own equipment.
For stronger water flow, the Grand Quay can install a fire hose on the quay, Main Alley or the green roof/Promenade d'Iberville from a fire hydrant (e.g. to fill a water barrel to install a large tent).
IT technician
If the Lessee wants to test the functionality of the wired internet system prior to the event with an IT technician, this must be done during business hours (Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.), at a cost of $75/hour (minimum 4 hours).
Electrician
If the Lessee wants to make any modifications or requires additional electrical connections or services, a request must be made to your coordinator at least 30 days prior to the event, and a cost estimate will be sent to the Lessee for approval.
Harbour Master’s Office
Your coordinator can put you in touch with the Harbour Master's Office for any requests relating to marine activities.
Snow removal
Snow shall be cleared from Monday to Friday, as well as on weekends and public holidays, depending on snow depth (2 to 3 cm).
The Main Alley, parking lot, wooden stairs, Promenade d'Iberville (green roof), sidewalks, gates and doors of the Terminal, Tower and Pavilion, Grand Quay Square, Tower terrace and area around Commencement Square shall be cleared of snow.
If you have any special requests, please contact your coordinator.
