Workforce profile

On December 31, 2024, the MPA had 272 employees, composed of 66% men and 34% women, reflecting a diverse range of occupational profiles. Among them, 26% are non-unionized managers, 13% are blue-collar workers, 17% are railway employees, 13% are white-collar workers, 1% are seafarers and 31% are professionals. The MPA implemented several initiatives over the year to strengthen performance and advance inclusion, such as establishing new skills profiles, setting up an evaluation process for unionized employees, launching a succession planning exercise and developing a training course for managers. Also, the promotion of equity, diversity and inclusion, emphasizing the importance of the 11% of visible minorities who make up the workforce, was strengthened by adopting a dedicated policy, providing training on EDI and raising awareness of Indigenous history.
