Non-Containerized Cargo
Non-containerized cargo basically includes oversized cargo such as railway tracks, vehicles and metal products such as copper anodes.
In 2017, this sector posted an increase of 29.2%, rising from 178,000 to 230,000 tonnes.
However, its importance should be put in perspective; these goods represent only a small portion of our handling operations. The transport of materials for the Champlain Bridge accounted for much of this increase.
