Dangerous Goods Permit

 

A permit is required before moving any dangerous goods in the port. To obtain a permit, the Montreal Port Authority's application form entitled "Dangerous Goods Permit" must be completed by the person responsible for the vessel and returned to the Operations Department before the materials arrive. For any loading or unloading, truck or train arrivals or departures of dangerous goods, the Harbour Master may require the presence of a fire-prevention inspector. Burning and welding permits

Before any hot work is carried out on Montreal Port Authority property, a burning and welding permit application must be submitted to the Harbour Master's Control Centre, telephone (514) 283-7022.

Permit for laying up a vessel

A permit is required for any vessel moored at the Port of Montreal. The form entitled "Permission to lay up a vessel" provided by the Montreal Port Authority, must be completed by the agent and returned to the Operations Department as soon as possible.

Parking permits

To request a parking permit for a vehicle belonging to a tenant of the Cité du Havre Building, please contact the MPA Property Service at (514) 283-6413.
