A Word from the CEO

the port of Montreal gets involved

Hello dear readers,

Montreal rocks in summer!  And our surrounding neighbourhoods spread this summertime beat. In Ville-Marie borough, the Village Au-Pied-du-courant opens a special strip of riverfront land for its residents, with free exhibitions and shows. In Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, heritage cruises and Vélopousse pedicab tours invite us to discover their corner of the city, while Contrecoeur present the 11th edition of its legendary Diableries festival.

Long committed to involvement in its community, the Port of Montreal Is a partner in a number of events held in the Ville-Marie, Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, Rivière-des-Prairies Pointe-aux-Trembles, Montreal East and Contrecoeur boroughs.  By financially supporting all these popular unifying events, the Port of Montreal ensures a meaningful impact on the quality of life of Montrealers who live near its territory.

I wholeheartedly hope that you have already taken part in one of these activities. If not, summer isn’t over and there’s still time to finish the season wonderfully.

Enjoy the rest of the summer and have a great start to the fall!
